December 2015 – Update :
As informed in previous month’s update , Aadhya , a 7 month old infant girl is diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia(AML) / Blood Cancer. She is undergoing her treatment now and unfortunately it is in an advanced(M6) stage. As a part of treatment she is now undergoing Chemotherapy in Rainbow Children hospital in Hyderabad. She just completed her third sitting of chemo and is all set for fourth sitting which will be in few days. Each sitting approximately costs around 50,000 INR. On a good note , Doctors confirmed that she is slowly responding to treatment.
ASHVATTHA volunteers visited the baby in Rainbow hospital few days back in ICU and are constantly in touch with Aadhya’s family members to know about her progress. With great help from our donors and volunteers we were able to donate Rs 50,000 again for Aadhya’s treatment.
